Dir II Sales ( National Labor & Trust) PS 23837 Location: United States Requisition : PS23837 Post Date: Jun 25, 2019 Dir II Sales National Labor & Trust: Candidate must be physically located in one of the following areas MO, OH,KY, IL & IN Responsible for directing sales and account management retention activities for large complex Taft Hartley accounts with medical, retiree and specialty products. Typically directs sales and/or renewal activities with annual Premium Equivalents between $500 million and $1.0 billion and a book of business with membership greater than 100,000 contracts. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides leadership and strategic direction to ensure profitable retention and profitable growth of business. Develops strategies for renewing current clients and prospecting for profitable growth by executing sales plans to exceed membership growth and financial goals. Develops sales, marketing and compensation plans. Develops, trains, mentors and motivates a labor dedicated and specialized staff of sales, account managers, service account representatives and hired marketing representatives to achieve common goals. Develops and maintains sf.com efficiencies across team to track new business and early warning cases. Develops and maintains key c-suite relationships with labor clients, prospects and plan professionals. Develop and maintain a market presence for Anthem by attending local and national labor events and conferences. Develops monthly and quarterly sales and retention forecasts for leadership and finance. Develop and maintain key internal functional, product and local market partners to achieve retention and sales targets. Reports to Staff VP Sales. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. Experience and proven track record working in the group health, Taft Hartley market is desired. Excellent managerial and leadership skills required. Territory includes but may not be limited to WI, MO, IN, OH, KY,. Travel for business required. Life and health sales license for each state of business is required. Requires a BA/BS; 8-10 years of professional/leadership experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
